Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 28, 2026

The short version: noBlood tracks golf scores and who owes who. We never process, hold, or move your wager money — that happens directly between you and your friends via Venmo, Zelle, or cash. We collect only what's needed to run the app, we don't sell your data, and you can delete your account and data at any time.

1. Who We Are

noBlood, LLC ("noBlood," "we," "us," or "our") operates the noBlood mobile application and the website at noblood.io (together, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

If you have questions about this policy, contact us at hi@noblood.io.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, information generated by your use of the Service, and limited information from third-party services you choose to connect.

We use PostHog, a product analytics platform, to collect usage data about how the app is used. This includes events such as screens viewed, features used, and actions taken in the app. PostHog data is associated with your user ID but does not include personally identifiable information such as your name or email. You can learn more at posthog.com/privacy.

3. How We Use Your Information

We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not use your data to serve third-party advertising.

4. noBlood Does Not Process Wager Money

This is a core part of how noBlood works: the app is a scorekeeping and ledger tool. When you and your friends play a money game, noBlood calculates who owes whom and displays that information. noBlood never collects, holds, transmits, or has access to the money you wager. Settlement happens directly between players using Venmo, Zelle, cash, or any method you choose, outside of noBlood. The only payment we process is your optional noBlood Degenerate season pass subscription, handled by Stripe.

5. Information Shared With Other Users

Golf is a social, group activity, and noBlood's core function depends on sharing some information with the people you play with:

We do not share your information with players who are not in a match, outing, or ledger relationship with you.

6. Third-Party Service Providers

We use the following service providers to operate noBlood. Each only receives the information necessary to perform its function:

These providers are contractually and/or technically restricted from using your data for any purpose other than providing services to noBlood.

7. Data Retention and Account Deletion

We retain your information for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from within the app (Profile → Account → Delete Account).

If you have any unsettled debts in your Book at the time of deletion, you will be asked to settle them first — this protects both you and anyone you owe or are owed by from losing an accurate record. Once your account is deleted:

8. Your Rights and Choices

If you are located in a jurisdiction that grants additional data rights (such as the EU/UK GDPR or California CCPA/CPRA), you may have further rights to access, port, or restrict processing of your data. Contact us at hi@noblood.io to make a request.

9. Children's Privacy

noBlood is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it.

10. Data Security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted data storage, row-level access controls so users can only access data relevant to them, and secrets management for sensitive credentials. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. International Users

noBlood is operated from the United States. If you use the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by email.
